When we look at history, hindsight likes to tell us we would've acted better, more humanely in the face of great tragedies, more urgently if those suffering asked for our help.

More than 50,000 children have been killed or wounded in Palestine since October 7th, 2023. This means at least one Palestinian child has been killed or wounded every hour, on average, over nearly 23 months of war. By mid-December 2023, 1,000 children had already lost one or both legs, and at least 21,000 children have been left permanently disabled.

These children are asking for your help. We, at Faun by Moonlight, are asking for your help.

We encourage you to donate to the Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF) at https://www.pcrf.net/donate. The PCRF is a nonprofit humanitarian organization dedicated to providing medical care and humanitarian relief to children in the Middle East, regardless of their religion or nationality. Since 1991, they've been sending volunteer medical teams to provide free surgeries and treatments, sponsoring children who need specialized care abroad, building pediatric cancer departments, providing medical equipment and humanitarian aid, and training local doctors and nurses. In Gaza specifically, the PCRF is one of the few organizations still able to provide critical medical supplies, emergency care, and life-saving treatment to injured and sick children.
